A4 Document Studio ("we", "our", or "us") built the A4 Document Studio app as an offline-first utility application. This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information.
Our app operates on a strict local-first principle. All scanned documents, ID cards, captured images, and generated A4 PDF files are stored securely and exclusively on your device's local storage using a local Room Database.
We do not collect, upload, store, or transmit any of your personal documents, scans, or photos to any external servers or cloud databases.
The app requests camera access strictly to allow you to photograph or scan your physical identity cards and documents. It requests storage/media permissions solely to let you pick existing photos or save generated A4 PDF documents to your device. This data never leaves your device.
The app does not integrate third-party analytics, tracking SDKs, or advertising networks that collect personally identifiable information.
Because all data remains locally on your device, your document security is backed by your device's built-in operating system security measures and optional PDF password protection.
